Tornado Wallace

Tornado Wallace is the main alias of Berlin-based producer and DJ Lewie Day, originally from Melbourne, Australia. Active since the mid-2000s, his work spans house, leftfield pop, ambient, and techno. He has released music on labels including Running Back, Optimo Music, Ghostly International, and !K7 Records. His productions have been played by DJs as varied as Tiësto, DJ Harvey, and Andrew Weatherall. Day has also been involved in numerous other projects over the years. In 2023, he released an ambient and downtempo album as one half of a.s.o., a collaborative project that received critical acclaim. He also records under the name Lew E, creating music for bigger dancefloors inspired by ’90s club sounds. He continues to perform internationally and is recognized for his consistent, innovative contributions across a broad spectrum of solo and collaborative work.
