With three beloved albums - The Weight of Redemption, The Vengeance Paradox, and Titan - EOTE have cemented themselves as one of the world's premier melodic death metal acts, with songs like The Shift and Clay holding a special place in many a metalhead's heart. Famed for their ferocious live shows with rowdy crowds in tow, EOTE has shared the stage with luminaries such as Amon Amarth, Trivium, Soilwork, At the Gates, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, and many more. The band's trajectory continues apace. Only Equals Negotiate is a four-track high point in EOTE's career, with equal parts experimentation and refinement of what the band does best. With guest vocal's from Aunty Donna's Mark Samual Bonanno, the EP features melodeath interpretations of thrash, black metal and deathcore, atop a strong undercurrent of revolutionary lyrics screamed directly into the listener's face. Bringing their famed live shows to as many mosh pits as possible throughout 2025, the year starts with their Australian tour supporting the father's of melodic deathmetal Dark Tranqulity.
