Humboldt Bigband
An underground jazz artist.
The Humboldt Bigband brings together musicians from the academic and professional circles of Humboldt University. Under the direction of Armando Carrillo Zanuy, AKA Armandosplaya, the band blends classic big band sound with contemporary influences and a touch of beach jazz. They perform regularly at the Berlin jazz club b-flat and have also played at venues such as the Haus des Rundfunks, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Monbijou Theater. It has been 7 times international and Coup de Coeur in FIMU festival 2019.
