RAMAN.
RAMAN. floats on a wild stream of emotion, carried by warm colours, disarming lyrics, and compelling melodies. Echoes of Chris Whitley and Jeff Buckley resonate in his music, but it was in the streets of Ghent that he found his own voice. Shifting between light and shadow, in his search for sincerity. 2018 was a key year for RAMAN. As artist in residence at music club N9, he worked on his first EP, ‘Birth Of Joy’, in collaboration with sound engineer Staf Verbeeck (Metal Molly, Selah Sue, Melanie de Biasio, Calexico). Since then, he has been working with producers such as Pascal Deweze (Metal Molly, Sukilove, Broken Glass Heroes) and Koen Gisen (An Pierlé, Meskerem Mees, The Bony King of Nowhere), under whose wing he recorded his first full album in 2025: ‘I do’.
