Gezamenlijk Douchen is a project by Max Oppenheim and Mannes Kocken, whose debut album, korfball. came out on the 23rd of May. Their music incorporates elements from (midwest-)emo, post-hardcore, and dreampop. The resulting songs range from intimate chamber sounds to hard-hitting emo anthems. korfball. paints a picture of growing up, longing and (abandoning) hope. The music reflects the musicians' personal experiences, as well as their friendship and shared love of the melodramatic and lethargic. Playing live, Gezamenlijk Douchen has been joined by Marnix van den Broek (Dagelijkse Misère), Pablo Massizzo, Maas van Gogh (maas_vg) and Hidde Boogaard (Ineptitude).
